On Thursday, March 7, 2013, the Village of Elmwood Park will host a public open house for the Elmwood Park comprehensive plan at the Elmwood Park Recreation Center from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The Elmwood Park comprehensive plan will guide growth and development in the Village for years to come.

At this public open house, the draft comprehensive plan will be available for public review and comment.  Exhibits on display at the open house will include future land use maps, as well as the main recommendations for the Village to achieve the community’s shared vision for Elmwood Park.

The purpose of the open house is to receive public comment prior to the formal review process with the Village Board. Representatives from the Village and the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (CMAP) will be available to answer questions and provide clarification.

No formal presentation will be given, so please feel free to drop in at any time between 5:30 and 7:30 p.m.
