With a beautiful weekend on tap for Chicagoland, I hope everyone has an opportunity to get out and enjoy the fresh air while you take in “beautiful Elmwood Park”. Like you, being cooped up for three months certainly makes me want to get out and breathe in the great outdoors whether it’s from my own back yard, an outdoor dining facility on our Restaurant Row or in the Circle, or in one of our beautiful parks.
Phase three of the reopening of our state is progressing and with it is coming more and more freedoms or a return to normal if you prefer that description. And a good part of our return to normal in Elmwood Park is the limited reopening of our Parks and Recreation Department, and our summer activities. Be sure to get a reservation for our first ever drive in concert with Billy and the Jets on June 25th. And don’t forget to pencil in our 4th of July Parade which will go on in a new neighborhood drive format.
Come on out and enjoy the outdoors and take in some good old summertime. Let’s keep Coming Together in Elmwood Park!
