Dear Neighbor,

Our community worked hard throughout 2020 to stem the spread of the coronavirus by keeping physical distance and wearing face coverings when out. We flattened the curve by washing hands frequently, and by remaining at home during the state stay-at-home order. It has been a challenging year and I’m grateful that you’ve worked hard to keep us all safe.

The good news is that our hard work is paying off and I look forward to returning to normal soon.  But our families and our businesses still need support.

To that end, I am pleased to announce a new voucher program that will support both our families and small businesses.  Enclosed you will find dining vouchers that can be redeemed at any participating Elmwood Park restaurant.  Each voucher is worth $5 and can be used toward a purchase of $15 or more.

Not only do these vouchers stretch your money farther, but they also help you support a local business at a time when they need it most.  Consider trying a new restaurant, ordering food from a favorite eatery during the week or purchase a special weekend meal. In any case, you’ll be helping our community and local economy during these difficult times

It is my sincere hope that this program provides some much-needed support to your family and to our local restaurants.  Every time you use one of these vouchers, you are helping a local business and their employees.

Thanks again for your hard work and support throughout 2020.  Let’s stay the course – and let’s continue to support our local restaurants. Remember, we are Elmwood Park – Coming Together.

Sincerely,

Angelo “Skip” Saviano

Village President
